Meet Donita, Executive Director

Jen Peppler currently serves as the Board Chair of Arise’s Board of Directors. She has over 12 years of experience in the medical field and was blessed to stay home with her four beloved kids for seven years. Now that they’re in school, she works as an office manager at a chiropractic and acupuncture practice. Separately, she launched her own product line business in 2020, building it from the ground up into a success story that now operates in five retail locations across Colorado. Known as a natural connector and relationship builder, Jen has a gift for bringing out the best in people and making everyone feel truly seen.

Her passion for Arise! stems from her own experience in a relationship where she felt trapped with no way out, believing she had to “suffer softly” as her only option. This personal journey ignited her heart to ensure no woman feels alone in that darkness, and she is deeply committed to helping Arise! grow and flourish as a beacon of hope for women everywhere. Jen has served on the women’s leadership team at City Lights Church for six years, executing monthly women’s events and large gatherings. She loves event planning, arranging flowers, and helping others discover their worth and purpose.

When she’s not changing lives through business or ministry, you’ll find Jen being a proud softball and football mom to her four kids, taking walks with her beloved doggies, or connecting with friends over coffee.

 Janine Cage serves as the Secretary on the Board of Arise!, bringing her passion for empowering women and her personal experience of overcoming toxic relationships. With a background in psychology, writing, ministry, and entrepreneurship, Janine offers insight, creativity, and a strong commitment to helping survivors rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Having walked her own journey of healing and renewal, she believes deeply in the importance of community, faith, and support for women stepping into freedom. In addition to her work with ARISE!, Janine is actively writing a book that offers Biblical insight and confessions from a former fairytale fanatic and toxic empath. She is honored to serve alongside the board in advancing the mission of empowering women to ARISE from toxic relationships, embrace their true identity, and fulfill their purpose. 

Mike serves as treasurer on the board of Arise. He has specialized in residential building construction and housing provision for over 20 years. He holds a Master of Divinity degree with a focus in spiritual formation. He brings professional and practical experience as a small business owner and subcontractor.  Familiar with the suffering produced by relationships with the emotionally immature, Mike is passionate about strengthening those who find themselves immersed in this debilitating experience.  Mike regularly serves in the children’s ministry at his local church and partners with other community-minded organizations.  He cherishes his role as a father of two beautiful children and shares his love for service and outdoor living with them in his spare time. 

Cindi, a Greeley native, serves as a Member at Large with Arise! She has almost 20 years of experience owning her own business as a Massage Therapist and Trauma Touch Therapist. She has volunteered in planning committees for other non profits and ministries. A passion to encourage women to heal from the past and be who God created them to be drives her. Her heart is prayer, healing prayer, & deliverance ministry through Freedom in Christ Jesus. This also pairs well with her profession of a Trauma Touch Therapist. Cindi’s enjoys making quilts for Saruni International, a Girls Rescue Center in Kenya Africa, so that every girl they support receives a one of a kind quilt. Her favorite life experiences are adventures with her husband, adult kids and grandkids; making memories, playing games with friends, and enjoying her grandson playing baseball.
